GALVANIZZAZIONE
La galvanizzazione è un processo che prevede l’applicazione di un rivestimento di zinco su un me-
tallo per impedirne l’ossidazione. Il tipo di zincatura utilizzato è quello a caldo, che si e ettua im-
mergendo un metallo (ferro o acciaio) in una vasca contenente zinco fuso. In queste condizioni, sul-
la supercie del metallo ha luogo la formazione di diversi strati protettivi. Il meccanismo protettivo
dello strato che si viene così a formare è duplice. Oltre a costituire una barriera sica che rallenta i
processi di corrosione e deterioramento della supercie del metallo, lo zinco agisce con meccani-
smo elettrochimico: qualora la verniciatura si danneggi, lasciando scoperte porzioni del materiale
sottostante, lo zinco circostante agisce come anodo di sacricio evitando la formazione di ruggine
sul metallo.
GALVANIZATION
Galvanization is a process that involves the application of a zinc coating on a metal surface to prevent
its oxidation. The most common process is hot-dip galvanization, which is carried out by immersing
metal (iron or steel) in a bath of liquid zinc to produce a corrosion resistant, multi-layered coating of zinc-i -
ron alloy and zinc metal. The coating forms an equal thickness on all surfaces immersed in the galva-
nizing kettle. This process provides a long-lasting, maintenance-free protection that slows the proces-
ses of corrosion and surface deterioration. If coating is damaged, leaving uncovered portions of the
underlying material, the zinc coating acts as a sacricial anode to avoid the formation of rust on the metal

CATAFORESI
La cataforesi è un trattamento superciale di verniciatura dei manufatti per immersione, collegati al polo nega-
tivo di un generatore elettrico, in una vasca ove sono immersi anche alcuni elettrodi collegati al polo positivo. Il
campo elettrico ed i fenomeni elettrochimici che si sviluppano, determinano la deposizione e la solidicazione
della vernice sul pezzo. In questo modo, le particelle vengono applicate uniformemente su tutta la superficie
immersa. Inoltre, l’omogeneità del rivestimento fornisce buoni livelli di legame e ottima resistenza
alla corrosione anche in quelle aree che sono di–cili da raggiungere con i tradizionali metodi di verniciatura.
Se il rivestimento viene danneggiato, lasciando porzioni scoperte del materiale sottostante, il primo strato di
vernice funge da protezione evitando la formazione di ruggine sul metallo. Questo trattamento è infatti
molto adatto per prodotti verniciati per uso esterno
CATAPHORESIS
Cataphoresis is a painting technics that consists in immersing the part in a bath of water-soluble paint,
connected to a cathode and by migrating particles of paint in suspension in the bath by means of
an electric current of a certain tension, from the anode to the cathode. The paint particles are then
applied evenly and over substantially the entire surface of the immersed part. Furthermore, the
homogeneity of the coating provides good bonding layers and excellent corrosion resistance even to
those areas which are hard to reach with traditional methods. If coating is damaged, leaving unco-
vered portions of the underlying material, the primary layer of painting acts to avoid the formation
of rust on the metal. This treatment is indeed very suitable for varnishing products for outdoor use.

VERNICI
COATINGS

VERNICI EPOSSIDICHE
Le vernici epossidiche sono resine in grado creare un rivestimento plastico che proteggere i manu-
fatti metallici da agenti chimici. Queste vernici presentano un’elevata resistenza meccanica ed una
buona resistenza alla corrosione di agenti chimici. Il lm che viene a crearsi in seguito ai processi di
verniciatura risulta duro e lievemente opaco.
POWDER EXPOSY COATING
Powder Epoxy Coating is a type of coating that consists in applying electro-statically dry powder
and cured under heat to allow it to ow and form a hard thin layer. They have great mechanical
strength and good resistance to corrosion by agents such as acids. Furthermore, the coating is hard
and slightly opaque.

VERNICE SOFT-TOUCH
Le vernici soft-touch è una particolare vernice bicomponente che dona alle superci un aspetto so-
sticato ed accattivante. La consistenza di tale rivestimento genera infatti una gradevole sensazione di
morbidezza al tatto, migliorando anche l’aderenza delle superci d’appoggio.
SOFT-TOUCH COATING
